Makes about 2 cups

1 can chickpeas, rinsed and drained

⅓ cup tahini

1 garlic clove

2 tbsp sesame oil

2 tbsp lemon juice

1 pinch salt and pepper

 

Method

Put all ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth.

You may need to thin it out with a bit of water, so add it 1 or 2 tablespoons at a time and blend.

Garnish with a sprig of mint and a scattering of sesame seeds.

Serve & enjoy – How simple is that?!

(If you don’t like sesame, try using an avocado in place of the tahini, and olive oil in place of the sesame oil)
