So we know sleep is of major importance not only for our mood and stress levels but for our waistline too!  Lack of sleep can soon make us feel cranky, snappy and have us reaching for the coffee in no time.

Here’s a beautiful caffeine free Chai Tea Latte recipe that will hopefully satisfy that need for your usual caffeine fix and keep you going through the morning or early afternoon slump without having to reach for a naughty biscuit to keep your sugar levels up!

Caffeine-Free Chai Tea Latte

Serves 1-2

1 teabag of chai tea (If you choose Rooibos it’s naturally caffeine-free)

2 cups of boiling water

1 tablespoon of Tahini

1 tablespoon almond butter (creamy is preferred)

2 dates (optional)

Method:

Cover the teabag and dates (if using) with 2 cups of boiling water and steep for a few minutes.

Discard the tea bag & place tea, soaked dates, tahini & almond butter into a blender.

Blend until creamy.

Serve and Enjoy!
